We live here and we eat at many restaurants, but you can always depend on Alexander’s to have great food and service. We appreciate the effort to surpass expectations. Of course, we will be back, many times.

Restaurant was wonderful at accompanying the change in our reservation. Donna, our server was great. Fresh bread yummy and the special salad delicious. Everyone at our table has the striped bass special. It was not hot when served and the double baked potato was lukewarm. Regardless, the plates were consumed by all.

Beautiful place, great service. Food was spotty. Fried green tomatoes were soggy, barely any pimento cheese. My short ribs were outstanding, very tender and flavorful. My wife’s schnitzel was tough as nails and flavorless. The sauce added nothing. For a $35 dollar entree it was very disappointing. She ate 2 bites boxed up the rest, and it’s sitting unwanted in the fridge. Still, some of the food was very good, our guests both enjoyed their fish entrees. Overall, the food was good with minor issues - portions for my dish (short ribs) were small for the price and my husband’s side of carrots were hard as a rock and inedible. He did enjoy the weiner schnitzel and mashed potatoes, however, and my short ribs were tender and flavorful.
