Alexander's is back! We've eaten here several times since the re-opening, and each time has been delightful. The new chef is creative, and everything is cooked perfectly. A good combination of new menu items and old favorites. Service has always been excellant, and continues to be so under the new management.
We celebrated our anniversary at Alexander's. The early bird dining was perfect - great selections and perfect size. I had shrimp and grits and my husband enjoying the swordfish. We were surprised with a delicious lime crème broule with HAPPY ANNIVERSARY written in chocolate and two glasses of champaigne. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. The window table was just what we had requested! A perfect ending to a wonderful anniversary day!!
Alexander's is a lovely dining experience with river views, white tablecloths, wall art for sale and great service. Early bird dinners are a real bargain...fresh roast beef is delicious...included soup and salad appetizers are tasty...all for 20 dollars per person...a glass of wine is 4 dollars a glass. Highly recommended!
It was raining that day, but lovely indoor seating on the porch viewing the river. Food was very good, service good, very nice manager.
