Noah, Dalin and Rashad were amazing and I could not ask for a better crew to assist in moving us. Other than that I received a quote that the move was going to be “no more than $700”. The truck broke down twice on the movers and they were stuck waiting on someone to come repair it. We supplied them with water as it was such a hot day. We finally we able to get to our new house and Dalin had to tell us that we had to pay them $2000 dollars before they were allowed to take our furniture off the truck. All My Sons is a trashy company. We booked a crew of three and a 26-foot truck a month before our desired move date. They called me several times in the week before to confirm the arrival window and the addresses. I called them the morning of the scheduled move and was told the crew was just finishing up a safety meeting and would be on their way to our home in about 20 minutes. Don’t use them. They won’t give me back my keys so that I could retrieve items from my storage unit! Asked if I should get the authorities involved and was told “go ahead and call the police”. Stay away!
I would NEVER recommend them! They PURPOSELY broke my bed frame (headboard & footboard) on their truck. They did not unpack my items. Once I told them I was going to cut the package and see if it was broke - the driver (there were 3 of them) asked for a tip and left BEFORE I cut it opened. Once I opened it, seen it was damaged, I called the guy to the point he BLOCKED me! The office kept me on hold and transferred me. I filled out a 10 page itemized list online. 3 guys showed up and paperwork said it was a 1 bedroom house. It was a 3 bedroom... it was 1100 square feet and I had everything packed. 63 boxes, 1 fridge a washer dryer a couch and 1 bed. They had a 10 foot by 27 foot truck and they couldn’t fit it all... stacked horribly and I heard a tv crack! They told me they we not liable for TVs... Ruth gave a beautiful sales pitch that ended as a nightmare. The movers I think are day labor. Scratched hardwood floors in former home. Nothing was padded on truck, fine furniture and heirlooms damaged. Now they won't make good on damages. Shameful what they did to our furniture.
Save yourself the headache-and hire someone else *especially if you’re on a budget. This place is a joke. We moved in March and I’m still livid about my experience with these people. I was given a great quote(should have known it was too good to be true) and was charged $450 more than quoted. I was very clear in telling the person on the phone that even though I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment- I had a ton of stuff ( and heavy/ solid furniture). They cuased significantly damaged to expensive master bedroom set , solid wood desk, and coffee table. Movers took picture said they would file claim yet nothing was done. Dont be fooled by sales pitch. They did not properly wrap furniture or do all the things noted in presentation.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I paid $100 on May 1st for July 5th. They called me on Wednesday, July 3rd to confirm my move. I called them THIS morning at 8:46am to again confirm that the movers will be arriving at Noon. They called me 45 minutes later and CANCELLED because they gave too many people the day off. Why call me on Wednesday and confirm knowing that you didn’t have the manpower to move me ?! This was EXTREMELY unprofessional and unacceptable.
