RecommendedManuel, Mike, and Chris were beyond amazing! They did our move today. Everything was taken care of and handled with care. We moved from a 2/2 bedroom apartment to a home, almost all our furniture were very heavy and we lived in a 3 story building with NO ELEVATOR. They were very respectful at all times and always asked where I wanted things placed and again everything came in tact. RecommendedThey were the most expensive of all the moving companies, but it was a flat rate with no hidden charges. I knew up front. (So I thought... The day before the move, I was called by Jason, and he started telling me something different than what my signed contract called for. I told him to read the contract before calling the client. Worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. They overcharged for the move. All of my furniture has damage on it. Many of my items were stolen. The movers were inexperienced and unprofessional. Even though Popeyes Moving Company was paid to unpack and reassemble furniture, they simply dumped boxes in the rooms. I had to hire another moving company to help with unpacking and assembling furniture.
Beware!!! Do not, I repeat, do not choose this company! They claim to be the official movers for the Miami Dolphins, so we thought they would be reputable and have good customer service. Not the case. Showed up an hour and a half late, moved slower than a turtle, and charged us for the hour and a half lunch break that they took, on top of breaking a light and cabinet. We had already taken apart both beds and packed all of our stuff. All they had to do was put the stuff in the truck and move it. After their late start and the... read more
Where do I start… used them 4 times before. This time was awful. But enlightening. They were an hour late. This created a $250 over time bill for me to reserve security and the elevator that they refused to pay. They sent out 4 kids basically. Nice kids but No tools, used my tape and when they left the dressers and big head boards were upside down in the bedrooms, drawers facing the wall one was vertically on its side. Lol I mean wtf? They wasted the time i paid for, by forgetting their tools and make us go to find some. they took twice as long to get to our new place as they should have. they wouldn’t even move my couch. they told me they’d move the dresser with the drawers still in it, and then refused to do that. they claimed my physical card didn’t work (when i later found out it did and they double charged me), wrote down my digital card number, and later used that for fraud on ebay. i am beyond upset.
