Ensure you understand the fees associated with the move. I scheduled because they charged $159 per hour, and when paying the final bill for under 2 hours of true packing and unpacking ended up being over $300 per hour. Understand you pay for 3 hours at a minimum with travel time, materials, and fuel charges. Nothing is included in the $159 per hour quote. On top of it, they have poor customer service...when I called to discuss my frustrations I was told by two managers that they would return my call and they did not.
Damaged furniture charged wrong rate.
Movers were 4 hours later than quoted. Did not bring correct number of guys or size trucks that I was quoted. Did not wrap leather furniture. Tracked in mud on carpet in old and new house. Put marked boxes in wrong locations on wrong floors. Lead man as well as others were extremely nice, well mannered. Just too many issues.
They were unprofessional, one of there employees asked for a tip...Twice. They stacked the boxes so high I can not even get to them, the company said this is normal and called me a liar.
They tried to extend working time (charge more). Two men came and always one guy worked and an another did not work hard. Also, they scratched wall and the wall has stained.
It took almost 12 hours to move five rooms of furniture. They brought no wrapping tape, and and twice had to wait to be resupplied with boxes loosing about 1.5 hours, broke the base of a floor lamp for which I got a $70 discount. An estimator visited prior to move and was told they would pack, yet they showed up short of material.
Very disappointed! My washer was dropped and determined not to be repairable by our technician we had look at it. The movers claimed no responsibility and did not repair or replace it. They cited no visual damage outside however the counterweight inside was knocked off. I worked the day before we moved and did not the day after we moved.
Management sent an e-mail saying a 26 by 39; truck and 2_men would be here between noon and 2. Two men and a car did show up. They wanted me to either rent a u-haul truck or they could walk all my furniture 1 1/2 blocks. I was livid. Finally After many phone calls, a truck and two men showed up at 7:30 pm. yes, 7:30 pm. Not very happy!. They finished unloading at 10:30
We hired All My Sons Moving and Storage of Cincinnati, LLC. to move the contents of our 3 bedroom home to the new house we had just purchased. We were assured they would send professional movers who would wrap all the furniture and handle everything with care. When the movers showed up the very first thing they did was complain about how much they had to move and were very upset that it would take two trips.
