Their food NYE is just okay. Pre-set menu and food came out in 5 minutes. Fish turned out warm and fish very over cooked. Staff appear rushed as they attempt to take plates away very fast.
I was drawn in by the ceiling of lemons in their outside/inside area. Food (pasta) was great! Wonderful wines. Waiter was really good. We were unfortunately seated next to the kitchen entry so there was quite a bit of activity in and out of the kitchen.
We had Xmas eve dinner and it was terrific. Food portions were nice sized and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!
Went for Christmas dinner with a prix fixe menu. The food was very good. I had roasted artichokes, a chicken entree, and tiramisu. Loved all of it. The place was packed as I think they were taking walk-ins as well and we were seated at the table right by all the door traffic between the front door and the kitchen. Not a great experience at that table. Place was quite loud. I couldn’t hear my family at all. Still enjoyed it overall
Giancarlo was so lovely. It was just me and my date under the lemons with Giancarlo on a Thursday night. Food was great. Especially the happy hour oysters. They may be small but mighty. The broccolini pasta was also great.
Christmas Dinner at Allegro with set menu. Fillet was excellent, other dishes good enough. May be a good place for a first date.
Amazing Christmas dinner!
We went here for Christmas and my family got put in the corner of the restaurant. It was literally the first table when you walk in, and we were barely in the restaurant. We went here to enjoy a nice Christmas dinner and when we looked under the table cloth we were sitting at a plastic picnic table and sitting in foldable chairs. We also had to ask our waitress (who was actually very nice) if we could get new water glasses and utensils because there was an unraveled silverware napkin on the table when we were seated. The experience here exceeded our expectations from the guest service to the meals. We came in for a unforgettable day to celebrate my birthday as well as my engagement. Our server Beatriz and food runner Victor really made our day special from their work ethic to the memorable introductions. We got to experience the beautiful decor of the lemon room as well as the warm fire pits in the center of the tables.
