I would go to the community myself, and place another loved one in the community again. The staff is really good at keeping the care levels on an individualized basis for each resident. The leadership is good at making sure to know what is going on with each resident in the community as well. The staff communication with the family was perfect and flawless. They were responsive to our questions about our loved one.
We are very happy and content here, and enjoy the community. The meals are very very good. There are two choices at every meal for the residents to choose from and then there is also an a la carte menu to order off of if the resident would like. Some of the activities include: Parkinson's exercise class, bingo, games, weekly ice cream social, weekly bible study and service, and more for the residents to choose from. There is a kitchenette in the apartment for the residents to use as well.
It is very clean. The staff is commited. The families visit loved ones alot. so there is tons of interaction.
Our experience with Allisonville Meadows has been excellent so far. They have an on site physician that is awesome. Lots of staff.
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They have a good value for what you are getting. The staff are nice and reasonably responsive with any questions I may have when I call.
[name removed] and the staff are wonderful, hard working and care. They became like family to me during my fathers years of living there. It was so difficult when we had to move him to skilled care. [name removed] was my fathers angel.
