I moved up by Kansas City over a year ago and still have not found a vet clinic I like as much No other place is as friendly and caring as dr Allphin and his staff or as knowledgeable in caring for your animals They also are very good with the owners too. I took my service dog in the clinic multiple times telling them she was showing sig s of poisoning and they flat ignored me and I lost her because they didn't listen. took her to Springfield Veterinary hospital and the test they did confirmed she had been poisoned she died and now my emotions have been very bad from all the trauma I've suffered including her death and she was my only way of calming down now she's gone because no one listened and now their wanting to send me bills to pay them for her death
We were referred to Allphin Vet through our vet a couple of weeks ago due to our dog tearing her second CCL and needing another TPLO surgery. We have called so many times and apparently only one person is able to schedule them procedure (and she’s never in the office from what we’ve seen—I’ve been told multiple times that she’ll call me back and that has fallen so far flat)… apparently she’s also the only person who can answer questions about pricing. Just had the worst experience ever. They gave me an estimate. Then I paid it. Then they are telling me that the estimate for each day my dog was there. How am I supposed to know this if it’s not explained to me up front. Then wanted me to pay it and they can’t even explain it to me the charges. Then calls me a liar. outdated information, overpriced.
I will NEVER return! Took my bulldog there by 11 am ( I called at noon and she wasn’t even seen by a doctor yet and when I called at 1pm, a tech wasn’t available) and 3 hours into it they could not diagnose my babies issue (a typically active dog who had ears back and hard to get up but seemed to walk fine). They suggested ANOTHER blood test to check for a tick born illness which I KNEW was not the issue since I stated what was wrong on a call at 8:30 am!! She was seen in a timely manner, her problem was diagnosed and then she waited in the business office with a fan on her all afternoon. We wish you had stayed with your dog so you could see what actually happened instead of imagining a falsehood!
