I recently had a TV that broke, the picture disappeared but still had the sound. I had paid 1100.00 three years prior for the TV and was disappointed in its failure. As I removed it from its stand I found the Square Trade warranty tucked behind it. I decided to call, and WOW, from the first call to a replacement TV, I was amazed by the customer service. I dropped one of my devices and the screen cracked. I wasn't sure what kind of coverage I had so I got on the SquareTrade website. The process was step by step and easy to follow from start to finish.
I had an electronic device covered by Square Trade, but it was still under the 1 year manufacturer warranty, so I submitted a claim through the manufacturer. The manufacturer, Sylvania (aka Curtis International) would NOT honor their warranty obligations and kept giving me the run around for over 6 WEEKS. I complained to Square Trade and they stepped up and took responsibility by paying out the claim in full. I received a check in the mail just a few days later. Once I waded thru the menus to get to a live person, the process went smoothly. The tech person talked me thru the process to re-install the system and that seems to have solved the problem with the touch screen.
