It’s hard to find a greyhound savvy Veterinarian, and while there are a few closer to us, we drive 120 miles round trip to see Dr. Cooper. She had/has greyhounds of her own so is very knowledgeable of the breed. She also takes the time to listen and is very thorough and compassionate. Well worth the drive!
I’m so happy with my experience at Alta Mesa. We were a new patient for our beloved cat Savannah. She had an injury & needed to be seen as soon as possible. They were able to see us same day. Savannah had not been seen in a clinic for sometime because she was used to a mobile vet. The staff made her feel comfortable even in a very stressful situation. I would highly recommend this clinic and owe them a big thank you for taking such wonderful care!
Most helpful veterinarian I've been to. Was worried my dog broke her toe. Brought her in and the estimate was over $500 because they were going to do x-rays and assess the problem. Ended up that my pup just broke a nail pretty bad. They didn't follow the estimate and did not have to do x-rays. Therefore, my bill was much less. They could have done them just to make some money and they were honest. We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Cooper for over 10 years now and she is always friendly, professional, and takes amazing care of them. The office staff and vet techs are also very knowledgeable and caring.
Everyone in their office were very kind and gentle with my fur-baby. It’s hard to find someone to trust when it comes to your pets, but when you do it’s easy to trust what they say when they are looking at and treating your animal. Dutch was scared at first, but let them do their thing without fighting. That’s when I know I’ve found a safe place to bring my dog when care is needed.
