Awful experience. They kept trying to up sale me on shots,test, and prevention. They now have a new policy to take your pet to a different room without the owner to take blood and give shots. I refused to allow them and walked out. Do not recommend.
As a long-term client, I’m sharing this review to encourage other pet owners especially those with medically complex animals to advocate strongly and ensure clear follow-up plans are in place. MOST OF THESE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FOR FORMEA- NOT THE CURRENT OWNERS! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! My pet had a terrible experience here and I would caution anyone from going here. She was supposed to have a sedated ultrasound. They did not sedate her and when I picked her up she was trembling and by the time I got her home I could tell something was wrong. Due to the stress and pain of the procedure not being sedated, we ended up at Hawthorn ER the next day with a relapse in her recovery
Since it now is ran by a corporation the care just isn’t there like it use to be. My dog was bleeding out of his behind and they didn’t even want to see him. Just wanted to give him antibiotics. Luckily I found a vet who cares about animals and my dog is thriving now and he didn’t need antibiotics because they wouldn’t habe helped his attack he was having!!!!!
