Absolute worst business I’ve ever seen run. Customer service is terrible and won’t listen to a customer. They will tell you they’ll be there a certain date and time and never show up. Not to mention there was over 10 beer cans in my trash can from guys supposed to be putting a building up. Prepare to be lied to and never be right in there eyes

I ordered a replacement door for a building they put up. Wrong size door. Told them and they won't give me my money back. they charge me delivery fee and a return fee for the wrong door they also backed up and broke my fence

I ordered 2 buildings (1 carport and 1 barn style building) for install at my commercial business in Oklahoma. They came and got the buildings up quickly, everything looked good, except the installer was missing 1 piece of 24 foot panel for our larger building. He asked that I pay (which I did) and he would send a note back to the company so they could send another installer with the panel to finish the job. I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to warn any potential customers of American Steel Carports of Joshua, TX. The design process was very good and they were helpful. However, once they got my $9k, that is when the customer service was nonexistent and the trouble started. The building leaked badly during the first rain. LOST ORDERS, broken promises, downright lies, terrible customer service & a wait FIVE times longer than stated, the product is good quality. But trying to actually get the product is a nightmare. We ordered a carport in person at the Mt. Summit, Indiana office on 8/21/2020 with Sean. We were told the carport would be installed within 4 weeks. This company strings people along with date after date of when it will be installed. The people are rude and snarky, they don’t keep track of the orders and are unable to deliver. For those of you who give them a good review, you must have not used the same company. We waited 3 MONTHS and still got the run around. It’s not JUST bad customer service, but seriously BAD BUSINESS. We cancelled our $10,000 order. They deserve NO STARS.

If it was up to me i would give them NO STARS AT ALL. Gave a deposit in the beginning of May and it took them for ever to call and set up a install date and when they did come which was on a Sunday late in the afternoon told them what we wanted done and then they started to remove some panels and then all of a sudden they left for lunch came back a hour later and said that they can not do the lean-to which was told that it should be no problem. I made my order on 5/26/2020 with my local feed store with the 10% down fee required. 2 weeks later I get a call to schedule a installment daye & time of 6/17/2020 12 to 4pm, never got a call all day and at 4:10pm I had to call company to inquire what happen & why I hadn't been notified. All Igot was excuses and the installer called at 4:30 to say he was stuck on another job and probably will not do my installation until the next day.
