If there no stars Amerigas would get none. When i call to have our empty tanks refilled i get to talk to someone half the world away whom i can't understand. I requested tanks to be refilled on 3 different occasions with no response. I am currently paying rent kn 2 tanks that are empty. I have waited over 2 months for a response. I would advise anyone needing propane to find another more reliable company.

We've had incessant problems with this company in the past four years. They do not advise you when deliveries are made nor do they leave a service tag. They charge and apply payments for services not yet due that you must pay every month that creates a large credit on your account that they keep and draw interest money for their company off of. Amerigas overcharges what other companies and the NY State Average per the *********************************************************************** My area should be around $3.45, I had a fill of 250 gallons at the end of December and was charged $3.60 a gallon. I just got propane today 2/2/24 and the price is $3.919 a gallon.

I ordered propane when I was at 30 percent, I was told 7-10 for delivery. I called when the delivery day was several day passed due, I was told that it would be expedited and a one hour prior phone call before delivery I received a text msg. stating that they delivered my propane the next few days on a Sunday and NO PHONE CALL, I was home all day it was never delivered, they have to ring my doorbell for me to let them in the gate where the tank is. Amerigas is charging $4.36 per gallon of propane. The average in my area is about $3.29. I have contacted them asking about the market proce and why it is high compared to other places in the area they just say it's due to the season. I will be canceling with them and going with a local company.

I wouldn't even give one star if that was an option. After 40+ years of using the same company, they took it up on their selves to install a device for auto refill. 2 weeks after having my tank filled, they came out to try to fill it again. No gas has even been used. Then when it got down below 30 percent, I can't get an English speaking person and now down to 10 percent and still no gas!!! All phone calls go to somewhere else. -1000 stars if I could. This company and their customer service is by far the WORST I have ever dealt with. The representatives I have gotten overseas are rude, disrespectful liars and will cuss me out for their mistakes. When I first got service with this company I had no idea how terrible they were. When they hooked up my tanks and took away my old ones I still had propane that I owned in them. The driver said I would be paid back for the gas they replaces. Foristell, Missouri We just got off the phone with customer service in the Philippines, and they tried to be helpful, but we couldn't understand the entire conversation. We have been scheduled for a delivery for almost a month, and haven't heard a word from the company. The customer service representative changed our account to reflect an urgent delivery, but we aren't sure what to do if it doesn't happen. There are NO other phone numbers to call. Been a customer of Amerigas since 2005. I never had a late payment & no issues until Jan 2024. I'm on automatic fill budget plan however I ran out of propane on 1/9. Called and was told I reported my AC unti was too close to the tanks on 12/6/23. Tanks Amerigas installed years ago but now are too close to the AC which was existing when the tanks were installed.
