First there is no AMerigas office in Watkins Glen NY they have been closed for many years. I called Friday 12/6 late 5:40p and notified them I was out of gas. I ended up calling 3 times as I was out on hold for over 25 minutes and disconnected. The representative told me we would have an emergency delivery in Saturday 12/7. I sold my home and the purchaser did not want to use AmeriGas. I used their online chat service to close my account and request a pickup of the tank. One month later, the tank is still on the property, they cannot provide a date as to when the tank can be removed. Their overall service was poor, too often I had to call and ask for a delivery, when on their auto deliver program. I should have canceled a long time ago before I moved.
The Worst Company Ever!! I worked for a company that was sold to amerigas. Their policies lost massive amounts of customers. Managers had no ******************** experience at all, and they wouldn't listen to common sense ideas. If I had it to do over, I would have left the day ***** Gas was sold. It was one horrible experience!
If I have to dig my frigging 500 gallon tank out of the ground, and switch from Amerigas, I might do it!!!! I've had a couple of issues lately, and I can't reach a customer representative that isn't from frigging India, and who I can understand!!! Please go out of business you losers!!!!
Worst company to ever do business with! Don't waste your time they will do nothing for you but rip you off! Charge you unnecessary fees and won't give you a customer service person to talk to that speaks english!
Unable to get customer service. After ***** on the phone, was disconnected over and over again. They took a prepayment but began delaying service. And now am unable to contact them to refund me or deliver propane. Recommend never using this company
Absolute worst customer service ever. Their phone numbers direct you to a call center in ***** and are less than helpful. I finally got a number to a a corporate office and reached a receptionist in the ** where they told me I would receive a call back and never did. I have had their service for 10+ yrs and am on a plan where they come and top off my tank every month (to avoid a huge bill for filling the whole tank), my bill is generally $10-$30. Worst company to work with, I can only ever talk to a 3rd party who barley understands me. Overcharged and charged incorrectly again and again.
Horrible. They are clueless and unwilling to entertain the need of the customer. Plus, after doing rate shopping, their rate per gallon is super high. Ditching Amerigas fast. Too bad I didn't do so a year ago.
