Company deceiving people! Called to fill tank, was quoted a price and they charged my account then told me 7 days later that I owed $300 more $$ for them to fill my tank, up charging their customers! Terrible ******************** to use They dont care about customers, only making money fraudulently
I am writing this for my mom. Amerigas is so frustrating. She ran out of gas on a Friday, called them and had to pay $300 for an emergency delivery fee plus $600 to fill it. It is Sunday and she still doesnt have gas. She has no way of telling how much is in the tank because they took the meter off. She has called multiple times only to be put on hold for long periods of time and then hung up on multiple times also and talking to people from another country makes it more frustrating. You people are crooks taking late fees when payments were early .you call cant get anyone who speaks English. We had gone from ****** to Amerigas several years ago due to horrible service. Well Amerigas has let us run out completely. They were suppose to deliver to us on Dec. 4th and canceled it. We were then supposed to get a delivery on Dec. 17th. and again no delivery. Jan 4th I got up to find the home freezing cold and it was 10 degrees out. We had run out of propane. I ordered propane on 12/28/2024 as tank was at 30%. I made numerous calls to call center. Date kept changing when delivery was coming. They kept stating cannot be delivered due to icy roads. Our roads were clear and we have have our driveway plowed regularly. We have video proof from security cameras that no delivery attempted. Then I was told if I paid $300 they would ensure delivery within 24 hrs no matter what. That was two days ago. We are now at 15% and told delivery is today or Monday. Do not do business with them. I had to learn the hard way. We had a small "leased" tank from them for a gas fireplace that we never used. We sold our house just short of 3 years into our "contract", 32.5 months in to be exact. We sold our house, I called to cancel, I was told no problem, sent one final invoice and the account was to be closed. Now, 6 months later I receive a $163 bill for an early termination fee. If I dont have to give even one star, I wont. Just to set up an account with them was horrible, their customer service and support *****. Delivery time is outrageous!! Dont waste your time with AmeriGas!!! All they want is your money!
Called because I was getting no propane to my house. The gage said I had 60%, the monitoring thing they use said 60% but my tank was completely empty. When I called they said they could not come out for 6-15 days. Its 15 degrees outside and 3/4 of my house runs off of propane. They didnt care that their equipment failed and tried to blame me for not calling sooner for a refill. I am set up on an auto refill plan. The guidelines inform you that at 30% you must call for refill. Call was made January 2, 2025 With delivery by January 9, 2025. Company postponed delivery twice then verbally informed me they have a range between the ninth and the 13th to fulfill their delivery. My order does not state they have until the 13th therefore, I called customer support of which I was on the phone for 52 minutes before I was able to speak to anyone.
