I gave this one Star, because there’s no option for none. We had a 120 gallon AmeriGas rental tank filled, and a few months later found the tank empty. It’s important to note the propane is only connected to one appliance and it was never used during that time period. We reported the empty tank to AmeriGas and a technician was sent out to troubleshoot the problem. The technician found no leaks in our system but recommended putting in a new tank. I wish I could give zero stars. This company is horrible. Lied about being able to lock my tank when we moved out. Called them 5 times in 2 months for a final bill and kept getting the run around. 3 months later I was turned Into collections. Wouldn't let me speak with a supervisor after many times requesting to. I now have to open a court case against them just to clear my credit. Worst experience with a propane company ever

I purchased a new construction home in Fredericksburg, VA and AMERIGAS was sole provider for GAS services. I lease my underground tank from AmeriGas. Upon occupying the home an AmeriGas technician visited my home to make sure their system and tank was operating safely. I was charges over $200 for the service that I thought was a matter of business to ensure their tank was safe and not lekking. It's their tank and it's a new house. We have become just another number in the cycle. The WORST service and getting in touch with a live person is almost impossible. Elderly parents in an old home with propane as the only source of heat. Almost ran out in the big freeze last year and here we are again; submitted order on 11/11 and after 18 days, today, still nothing. tank is almost at 15%. I have to give one star because you can't do ZERO or half.

I wish I could give them 0 stars! We purchased and had placed and installed our tank when building our home in 2007 by a small local company. In 2015 Amerigas began delivering our gas. We never set up any service or plan with them. After about a year they started trying to charge us a tank rental fee. I would call in, 10 phone calls later it would be removed. I had auto refill and auto payment set up with Amerigas. They decided to change auto fill to will call without notifying us. Now 10 degrees outside and we have no heat, no hot water and we cannot use our stove to cook. They also keep charging me a late fee even though I have autopay and a credit card on file. WORST company I have ever dealt with!

AmeriGas Propane is the worst. I call about delivery and I was told it would be here on 11/24 at 11 A.M., then they tell me no later than 7 P.M.. No delivery. I called today, 11/25. I get nothing out of them. Asked them why they always lie and alls they do is apologize. This is not the first time they have lied. They have very poor customer service and I get charged for all different fees. Made me pay for propane already in tank when I bought the house. Over charge for propane. When putting gas in tank, the amount is greater then what could fit in tank. (cant prove this) Even with a credit of $1513.00 still want me to send $89.00 a month. Sent me a late fee for $36.00 when I did not send payment. Charge paper invoice fee $2.99 more then twice a month. We have had multiple issues with AmeriGas. We needed an emergency fill and they charged us all the fees but didn't come to fill the tank. We cancelled our account and they were suppose to schedule a pick up. This didn't happen, instead they tried to take it while we were out of town. Since cancelling our account it took them over a year to get the tank, charged us to take it, also added on an addition rental fee, and late fees.
