If someone doesn't shut this company down it is a shame. They are taking advantage of every day working people.....please do not get any services from this company. I gave them a one star but it should be a minus.
This company is incompetent and disgusting. We were a customer for years and things were fine until they closed the local branches and shipped their customer service overseas (or wherever it went). After being informed they don't service the size tank we needed to switch to anymore, my choice was to keep paying ridiculous rental fees on a larger tank that we would only need filled once every four or five years, or cancel the service and pay a $162 pickup fee... If I could give negative stars I would. Absolute horrible business. Makes no sense when an account holder passes away, they still have to pay an early termination fee for breaking the contract! Like what?!? ?? ?? who's gonna pay it? After 6 calls and talking to the yahoo's they call customer service reps, I think?? They possibly said I can send in a death certificate and it has to be approved? I cannot give them even one star. We continue to be billed for a propane delivery for a pool heater that we did not receive. We have sent pictures of the gauge, showing us not receiving the propane. Horrible company to deal with; currently changing providers to a local company. Please do not use this company!
Absolutely the worst gas company I've ever worked with or had service from, having lived in multiple states across the US. Customer service is atrocious and they will put you on hold then disconnect you. I've had to call 4-5 times in order to set up a pre-buy and then one month later they send me a bill stating I've used over 300 gallons in one month even though I only used 286 over the last year! Avoid this company at all costs!!
Worst company I have ever worked with; service is terrible, they have no follow through, and pricing it high. They love their automated system that provides no value to the customer. If I could give them a negative star I would. Do not do business with them, you will regret it.
AmeriGas sold me a propane tank with a bad nozzle where the fuel will not come out. Tried it on four different pits and did not work. Spoke with the eight hundred number and without the sales receipt/code they would not exchange it. I had taken the propane tank to the lake so when I returned 2 months later I had did not have proof of purchase. For under $20 they lost my propane business and my lake house propane business. I spend approx $1400 per year with them. not a wise business decision.
HORRIBLE COMPANY!! for the past 6 years, have tried to order online and everytime I get to the end of the transaction it says error please call. Every single time! The call is ALWAYS painful. I sit through on average 10 to 16 mins of questions and hold time in between questions and struggle to understand what they are even asking me. This is undoubtedly the WORST company I have ever dealt with!! No customer service and they do not help you at all! I had a bill for $ 12,000.00! I live in a 1300 sq ft house just me and my husband. In the mean time I had received my normal bill for $86.00 They could not figure it out and I since have received 4 notices that the $12,000.00 is past due with a late charge!!! I can’t get any help! I’ve called 4 times and each time they say they will investigate and I still get the past letter! Run from this company (if you can)
