**SAVE YOURSELF MONEY**Amerigas has the worst customer service. From the install costing three times the amount it should have, customer service did not help me then. the last straw was when the charged me for propane delivered to someone:somewhere else and charged me for it. Then refused to credit my account with out an investigation, when I took and sent pictures of before and after fill up of my tank gauge with no movement. Absolutely the WORST customer service! If you buy a new house DO NOT lease a tank from them even if it already on the property! There was an Amerigas 124 gallon tank on the property we just bought so we kept it without reading the reviews. They are very friendly and prompt to set up the account and then they are UNREACHABLE! After just three weeks of trying to work the to no avail they are charging $400. To come pick up the tank which is sitting in the driveway!
Trying to be professional... cottonwood AmeriGas is the worst . Dozens of calls lots of promises on delivery days THE WORST.they were told last year very little usage gone for three winter months tank empty this two hundred fifty gallons tank only runs fireplace. We are paying lease approximately one hundred dollars a year. Tank is over forty five years old. No customer service
We bought a house that has an Amerigas-owned propane tank, and I deeply regret this. Their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. My mother told them two years ago not to deliver without permission. She passed away 10/7 and they delivered 10/29, again without permission. Now we have a 507 bill. The home is is a trust and I am a trustee. They want a death certificate. She was not under a contract with them. They would come every quarter and charge her a fee to come by. She told them then to stop unless she called. You cant reach anyone in the states to discuss
What ever you do, do not do business with this company. It seems like everything you do they charge an extra fee. If you order propane they charge a hazmat fee plus a surcharge fee. I was told these fees were required by the gov. ** local company doesn't charge these fees. I just closed my account and had my rental tank picked up which cost $300 and a $119 dispatch fee. Don't do business with Amerigas they do not care about their customers.
We moved to new house. Had existing tanks. Service tec came out to quote how much to move. Was here 5 minutes, quoted over $500. charged us $250 Paid. Asked them to remove, never said they would charge. Sent us a bill for $375. I am now in hole for over $500 and never used there company. ***************** worst I think Ive ever dealt with.
Total Scam of a company, I received a Promo email for .25 cents off my fill-up and 90 net pay well got the discount but then got a "hey your late pay us now" letter in the mail. I called customer service (ya that's a joke) and was told they would not honor the terms of the promo code and to resolve this I would need to allow them to pull my Credit, seriously!!! **************** is awful and non-existent. I have spent over 20 hours (14 over two days of which were to wait for the technician - which never showed) and the other 6 on phone calls trying to find out why they haven't shown up and when (date and time) they going to show up. As of this review, they were not able to give me a new date or time for the rescheduling. ***, I am an existing customer. My advice, NEVER use ********************** (I don't really have any other options so I am in purgatory).
