If there was a negative star system, that's what I would choose for this company. They charge $2 more a gallon than anyone else and when you try to cancel they tack on numerous bogus fees. Their "support team" tells you that you can call in and have those fees removed once they post to your account, but after several phone calls, waiting on hold, and messages with them to remove the fees they don't go away. I filled up 2 weeks ago at 3.697 a gallon and in just a little over a week they sent out a flyer saying you could fill for 1.59 a gallon for existing customers who owned their own tank. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I think propane going from 3.697 one week to 1.59 a little over a week after most people filled their tanks is crap. I have bought my last gallon from Amerigas. (I had to pic a “star rating” it should be none but I was required to pick one. )

Absolutely the worst company to work with. We have had one of their empty tanks on the side of the road for more than 90 days. We've called and asked them to remove it before snow comes, at least 6 times. It has been escalated each time. Today I called and asked to talk with someone in the United States, so they can better understand our complaints. She told me, they have no one in the US to take my call.

They over charged me for a service they did not complete. I have been on the phone with them 5 times in the last 2 months. I will not pay for a charge that was not done. Talking with a foreign person each time who says they will take care of it! LIE! Never taken care of! I have asked them to come and get the propane tank. I have used this company for over 20yrs. Have paid my bill on time every invoice. Very displeased with Amerigas. Do not buy propane from the company.

Very unhappy with Amerigas. Called to let them know that I had a leak on their tank from the fill port and I tightened the cap to stop it. I received a call back from an emergency response employee and he stated that he was required to come out and check it out due to it being a leak. He showed up and couldn't even take the cap off the fill port. I took it off and the fill port re-seated and stopped leaking. Called im to become a new customer and after waiting weeks they finally came to fill the tank up. I checked pricing over the phone and in person with their employees but when I received my bill they are trying to add multiple random charges never disclosed to me over the phone! This company is attempting to overcharge me $200+ for absolutely no reason. Everyone I spoke to prior to receiving my bill never informed me of any fraudulent charges they planned to make. This company needs to be investigated for its business practices. The way they treat their customers is horrible. Customer service should be key to any business. As of today im moving to a new Propane Company that values their customers. Amerigas Stresses me out every time i have an issue.

For the past two years I've been trying to get him out here to put a regulator on I had a gas leak and they told me that they were supposed to replace it they never have I have called them numerous assigned over the past two years and it is October 30th 2023 and still nothing's been done

Worst company ever!!!! They keep finding ways to charge more money and I haven't ordered propane in 2 years!
