For several years, amerigas was told that the tank at our residence had no regulator and the tank was *****. No way of knowing how much propane was in the tank. The bills were always paid on time. In July 2021, the resident passed away, still amerigas services were used and paid for. When new residents took over the property amerigas was called multiple times and several visits made to local office where employees were inside ,door was locked and we were never acknowledged. Their customer service is horrible, the prices are almost double the competitor prices. Because of this I cancelled my account and chose another supplier. The new supplier came out with a new tank, installed it and transferred the remaining gas from the old tank to the new one, all for &80. Amerigas had to only load the old tank on the truck and haul it off. For this 10-minute job we were charged $225, and they added a "service dispatch fee" of $99, for nothing. I just cancelled their service and they sent me a final bill for dispatching someone to pick up their tank and added for the actual pickup of the tank. When I called, the support person was hard to understand. I think he could have been in *****. The final invoice had no itemization, so I was shocked at a final bill over $300. I was a customer for over 8 years and am very disappointed now. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

VERY HORRIBLE SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. SAD THAT BIG CORPORATIONS LIKE THIS DON'T CARE ABOUT THERE EMPLOYEES WORK ETHICS AND SUPERVISOR **** ALSO RUDE AND VERY POOR SUPERVISOR SKILLS. STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMEND AMERIGAS FOR YOUR GAS SERVICE. AFTER TRYING TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT FOR 5 MONTHS FINALLY ASKED TO GET TRANSFERRED TO A RUDE SUPERVISOR THAT ACTUALLY DID THE *** FOR HIS PREVIOUS 6+ EMPLOYEES THAT I TALKED TO ABOUT CANCELING MY ACCOUNT. RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS BEWARE - Avoid ********************** in the ******** area! I have spent more than 40 years in the service industry and fully understand that most customers write reviews when they are UNHAPPY. As such, I have a personal rule to ALWAYS review when I have a good experience; and only write a bad review when it really matters. Took our nearly $500 payment for propane, gave us a delivery window and did not come during that time. We do not live at the home for which we need the propane, so it is necessary to have accurate communication about the delivery date so we can coordinate someone to be there. We can only speak to CSRs in ***** and they cannot help us with this problem or connect us with anyone who can. They removed the price per gallon on their bills. I had to call to request the price and found out the price per gallon was over double what my neighbors are being charged. I had sticker shock when I opened the bill and couldn't see how much they charged me per gallon. I have now ended my service with them and going through the nightmare of now being charged $299.00 to have the tank picked up that I don't own, just leased. Don't go with this company they are the worst.

Purposely withholds deliveries to keep delivery amount under minimum so they can charge me to rent my tank (which I own.) Ran out of propane because they cancelled my auto delivery due to a "system glitch". Has anyone filed a class action against this corrupt company? I'd like to be in on it.
