Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. No local offices. Poor customer service due to outsourcing and not be able to understanding the people. They really could care less. We are to the point of digging up the tank and going with a local company that cares. Can not recommend them. Zero stars
We are a commercial account and have had ********************** for decades with no issues. They did not credit me with a payment I sent and I have been going around and around with them for 2 months now. The check cleared our bank account and they still refuse to give us a credit on the account for $53.86! They have now sent us to a credit collection company who I sent the information to, and it was suppose to be resolved and still I am getting late notices from them. The worst customer service ever. You would be wise to use another service provider. I purchased a ten year old home in July of 2025 and AmeriGas has been the sole provider since the previous owner built the home in 2015, at which time Amerigas buried a leased propane tank. I have not been satisfied nor pleased with the service, and in trying at different times to resolve issues I have continuously been placed on hold, exceeding (3) hours of valuable time. I ordered gas 14 days ago and they took my money as a new customer. I still don't have ********************, but they have my money. I called them 8 times, and 4 of those times was on hold an hour, so 4 hours of my life on hold...and I still don't have my propane delivery. If I could give them a zero I would. **************** is non-existent.
I purchased my 125 PropaNe gas tank from Amerigas over a year ago. The delivery guy during filling MY gas tank dropped the nozzle on my RENTAL tank and all the gas leaked out not 1 time but 2 times. They were a nightmare to get them to fix the issue they caused and replace the gas lost. Stay away! Patronize this company at your own risk. I have been waiting for a fuel delivery for two weeks. Only people you can talk with are in ****** and they are all so sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry but in January in ***** nobody needs sympathy! We need the fuel to be delivered when it was promised. Their excuse is icy driveway, meanwhile there is a construction working adjacent to the driveway and not one person has seen an amerigas delivery vehicle. This is the worst company I have ever used. My husband and I have coined a new term in our house, called Americas rage! Its the most rage you will ever feel in your body. Its a level of rage that BOTH of us have only ever reached in dealing with this company. Its like experiencing every mad you e ever felt all at once. One time, they came within TWO. MINUTES. My last bill for propane by Amerigas was in 2017. I have not used propane since then but they left the tank on my property. I had not received a bill for tank rental since 2017 and the tank was rotting. If I had received a bill, I would have had the tank removed. Then in December 2025, I get a bill for over $1000!!!!! I called supervisor and told her I hadnt used propane nor received a bill since 2017.....She would not change my bill except for only $200 less so my fee was still $875.93.
