This company is the worst. After my husband died I changed the account to my name and was told that the tank had to be moved. After that they filled it 2023. During that traumatic time I forgot about it. A bill was not sent nor a reminder. I ordered a delivery November27 2024 and had to prepay. Which I did to the amount of $460. My family members spent 2 weeks without propane even as there is a credit on the account for 2000 and they are on auto fill. After the propane was delivered, we were informed that it would be another week before it would get turned on because an inspected needed to approve the restart. Therefore, my sick and elderly family members will be in a home without heat during the coldest period we have had in over 7 years for 3 weeks. Charged more than told, online system is not working properly, I scheduled reoccurring fill up online and scheduled online for fill up and never received propane, called and was told I never scheduled any thing. Im now out of propane and it is -1 ******* out! And was told by costumer service to get a new company. Plus my tank was not filled completely from the one *** the did fill it. This company must have 6 year old kids running their billing department! I am still receiving "Past Due" notices for a credit left over from a year old pre-buy incident that I had to get BBB to assist in clearing up., Now they are back at it again! I swear they are preying upon senior citizens just hoping we will forget and send them $$ which we DO NOT OWE..
The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They sold customer service overseas. I recently bought a home, and ran out of propane in the ********** with a low of 7 degrees today. I found out Amerigas owns the tank so I called them for an emergency delivery on a Saturday. Here is how the call went:Me: you own the tank at my home and we just moved in. This company is the biggest joke I have ever dealt with. They failed to hook the gas line up after filling it, rendering the gas useless. So no heat during the 0 temperatures. I have called daily for a week and been assured someone would be there in 24 hours and it's been over a week now and still not done. Nothing but lies and empty apologies
cant even do one star. ******** services has been terrible. ******************** acts like they do not care. Have paid them and 12 days later still waiting with 0% for 4 days now. Called 4 days straight and have been on the phone for over 7 hours this week. Still not even a delivery date even though i was promised next day on thursday. Its now friday and they have no record of this. if they did not have 900 of mine I would go elsewhere by now but the sadder part is house is 39F and all i hear is im so sorry for that...
Terrible company, would never recommend. Would not fill our propane, drove to our house and drove away and nobody on the phone could make sense of the reason. Ran out of propane for heat in the middle of the night even though an urgent fill request was put in. When asking to speak to a supervisor over the past week at constantly put on hold and then transferred to a survey and hung up on. Have been on hold for hours with this s***** company and nobody can connect us to a supervisor.
This would be a zero-star review if I could. I have been with AmeriGas for the last 8 years and had zero issues with themuntil this past year. Over the last year, they have raised my rate by nearly $1,000 and made it nearly impossible to contact them.Recently, I switched to a local company that actually answers their phones and treats you like a human being.
