This is the worst propane provider on the planet. I agree with Chris J.'s review. On "auto-fill" they let me run out of propane 3x in 18 months. UNACCEPTABLE!! The call center in the Philippines cannot handle a question/request that is not on their script. Plus, they are quite difficult to understand. I'm trying to get rid of them, but that seems impossible, too, as they don't answer email nor respond to a request to buy their tank that I rent. I wish I had never done business with this company. After finding out they were charging me more than double what other companies charge for propane I decided to switch propane suppliers. On 8/23/2023 my new propane supplier set aside by several feet the Amerigas 1000 gal tank and set their 500 gal tank in place of it. However they reconnected my gas line to it to drain out the 16% propane left over in it. I have been a customer with Amerigas for over 25 years. The last 4 years have been a total nightmare. Last year in October 2023 they came to fill my tank. The man knocked on my door and told me he couldn't fill my tank because it was too close to the house. Mind you, this is where AmeriGas installed my tank 25 years ago. I would like to give them zero star. I have been a faithful customer for over 10 years. How do they show their appreciation:1. By raising their price to double of other companies. 2. Demanding that I fill my tank complete each time I make a purchase 3. Having customer service that literally do not speak English, and I cannot understand any of them. 4. Amerig ass is the most incompetent company I have ever(and I'm 63) delt with. Lie's after lies, service dept. Lost. Manager's lie. Scale 1 to 10 -10 Never late onbill. Open my account. We have used this company for over 15 years with automatic delivery scheduled. On Dec 28 our tank ran dry and we called for a redelivery. The driver put 40 gallons of propane in our 60-gal tank. In the past this would last 9-10 months. On Jan 19 we were empty again. Less than a month after having the tank 75% filled. On Jan 20 when I got up there was a strong odor of gas in the kitchen. I recently had the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company. In a matter of two days I had to talk with 7 different customer service agents about delivery details. Each one gave me different information and the information given me on my online account was different as well. Considering all the money one pays per year for your service...I would think receiving accurate information is not too much to ask. I am posting this review about Amerigas after not receiving any propane gas for an order placed over fifteen days ago. I have made several calls to Amerigas customer service without any avail. Inside temperatures at my house have been between 45 and 47 degrees for the past week. On January 8, 2024, I placed a prepaid residential propane gas delivery request with Amerigas.
