Monopoly, rip off ($4.89 gal), piss poor billing (pay first and you might see your delivery 10 days later). If you cancel service, right now it is $149.99 to pick up tank (it was $75 when I contracted) but, Oct 1 that pick up fee will be $199.99. And, geeezzzee, I could not speak the same language of the person I spoke to, and she was very rude because I would not say why I am ending service. NEVER AGAIN Amerigas!! And, you have to select 1 star to submit this review, see what I mean, "Monopoly"

Absolutely worse customer service that I have ever dealt with as it relates to propane. Left message on all the employees at corporates voice mails and none of them called me back. I heard from a customer advocate and she stated no one would call me back expect. She said corporate do NOT communicate with customers. Now they are trying to say it’s their tank and Ive asked them to prove it with documents. Can’t supply it. Trying to bully us into buying it and they can’t prove it’s theirs. I’m sitting here in the Amerigas Parking lot typing this right now. 20 weeks pregnant with a sick 5 year old at home . We’ve been out of propane for a week now. We placed the order for expedited delivery a week ago. Every single day I am lied to about when my propane will be delivered. The call center even went as far as to tell me “they’re on their way right now.” All lies. I was lied to again yesterday by a supervisor (Saturday) that my propane would be delivered today (Sunday). I had a tank installed paid $1,854.52 for a 500 gallon tank to be installed, and the 400 gallons of propane. Was only supposed to be $1,000 install plus propane was overcharged from the original estimate. Now they are sending a bill for $289.99 for removing the lock so I can use the tank. in the last 30days I have called over a dozen times and created several dispute numbers that from one agent to the other they cannot find the previous dispute. The worst service ever. Struggled to make deliveries every time. I terminated service and was charged $1000 for a delivery that never happened. I was repeatedly told the error was on their end and to allow for billing to make the change. Instead they turned the bill over to a collection agency and I still cannot get any answers.

The most terrible business I have ever worked with. Customer service promises things or flat out lies to you. I have been waiting for 5 months for them to remove their tank, I call every week just to get the same run around. What they do to lock you in and give you no way out should be illegal.

America’s is gouging the customer by charging 340.00 a year for tank rental along with the highest price for propane in the city. If you live in Fort Wayne Indiana, do not use this company. They are terrible.

This is one of the worst companies I've dealt with. There are endless billing problems, a nonfunctional website, and customer service in the Philippines who are basically unable to do anything. I have run out of propane completely, numerous times, and it has taken 48-72 hours to get a delivery. If you have any choice of propane companies--which I, unfortunately, do not--DON'T go with Amerigas.
