BBB does nothing to stop this company from being in business. These reviews don't help customers, only a place to vent. Amerigas showed up with a truck and tried tried to STEAL tanks I own. Lucky I was home and ran them off my property. After going with another company to fill tanks, they thought they would show up and take tanks they "thought " they own, one with 150 gallons in it. Good luck "talking" with people in ***** to get Amerigas to stay off my property.
Worse company ever! 0 stars!!! Had to pay ****** for nothing. The employee they sent out to so our survey was very rude and did nothing to help us. Do not recommend. Read reviews, it pays in the end.
I would give this company zero stars if I was able. Terrible customer service, Terrible people, price gouging is the norm. They obviously don't care about anything except the bonuses they get. They also treat the employees like slaves. Run for your life. The whole company is unethical and uncaring.
The WORST company with the WORST ethics. My tank was picked up with 48gal propane remaining, which I was told would be refunded to me. After 3 MONTHS of waiting and calling every so often to check the status of this refund, today I am told that all of the other agents I have spoken with have told me misinformation and that there was zero propane remaining in my tank. Competition for poorest customer service is fierce these days, but I think this company is hands down the winner. When you have a problem, it is almost impossible to speak to a person. Walk-ins at their local location are not permitted. Their local phone number connects you to their automated 800 number. When you finally do get a person, they are in another country and very difficult to understand. HORRIBLE! Literally the most unhelpful customer service I have ever encountered. They rented me a faulty tank that was leaking. Both unsafe and very expensive for me. They have offered no help and have tried to further upcharge me without addressing the faulty equipment. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They deserve - 100 stars. Whatever the worst possible rating. I'm mad I have to give them a single star.
Don't use exchange tanks, have had valve problems 2 out of 3 tanks, one valve wouldn't open and the other valve leaked. They are dangerous to use.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. After numerous issues, I'm now waiting for the tank, FULL of propane, to be picked up. It's been sitting in my yard for 2 months and today I'm told it will be another 2 months. In the meantime, I continue to be harassed to pay the bill for the over priced propane that was never used and sitting here for return.
