Amerig ass is the most incompetent company I have ever(and I'm 63) delt with. Lie's after lies, service dept. Lost. Manager's lie. Scale 1 to 10 -10 Never late onbill. Open my account. I have been a customer with Amerigas for over 25 years. The last 4 years have been a total nightmare. Last year in October 2023 they came to fill my tank. The man knocked on my door and told me he couldn't fill my tank because it was too close to the house. Mind you, this is where AmeriGas installed my tank 25 years ago. We have used this company for over 15 years with automatic delivery scheduled. On Dec 28 our tank ran dry and we called for a redelivery. The driver put 40 gallons of propane in our 60-gal tank. In the past this would last 9-10 months. On Jan 19 we were empty again. Less than a month after having the tank 75% filled. On Jan 20 when I got up there was a strong odor of gas in the kitchen. Fraudulent company lies and deception with every phone call. Pre-paid for my propane and it's been more than 2 weeks with no delivery.
I am posting this review about Amerigas after not receiving any propane gas for an order placed over fifteen days ago. I have made several calls to Amerigas customer service without any avail. Inside temperatures at my house have been between 45 and 47 degrees for the past week. On January 8, 2024, I placed a prepaid residential propane gas delivery request with Amerigas. I recently had the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company. In a matter of two days I had to talk with 7 different customer service agents about delivery details. Each one gave me different information and the information given me on my online account was different as well. Considering all the money one pays per year for your service...I would think receiving accurate information is not too much to ask. We had been using them for a few years up until recently, they kept telling us that we owed them more money when our bill was paid in full every time they would come. Again... My delivery was supposed to be 2 days ago I am about to run out of gas . This happened to me too 12/24/22 no hotwater and couldn't cook for Christmas I had to flag down a driver and he was coming from MIAMI......to my neighbor hood no drivers I thought the holidays was over .Now they said it will be here tomorrow I have zero....faith my delivery was due on the 22nd
Worst customer service ever - I ordered propane 2 weeks ago with a delivery date that was supposed to be LAST week - but now with a week overdue from Anmerigas delivery , I'm down to 3% gas and when I call for delivery update . with an answering service now in the Philippines - they say that they CANNOT call locally or call dispatch to see where my propane is - and this is on a PREPAID order - disgusted and frustrated and COLD
