We were on an auto fill policy and had to call several times to get propane. On one occasion, our tank ran completely out and Amerigas told us we had to pay a service charge to have our gas lines inspected. If we are on an autofill policy, why did the tank run empty? We ended up switching propane companies. On the day the new company installed their equipment, we called Amerigas and told them to come get the tank. This was on November 6th, 2025. This company is a scam. Force you to sign an agreement or should I say they said I signed an agreement. THEY then charge twice the rate and takes weeks to get products. Then will not answer a call and refuse to close the account. PLEASE DONT DO AND BUSINESS WITH THEM.
I am so appalled by the service we have received by Amerigas. We have been with them since 2018. The fall of 2025 i called to cancel my account when prices got too high and we found better price with another company that was as half the price. We were finishing out the tank that we had already paid for and were told to call back when the tank was ready to be picked up. Terrible company. ****** BEFORE YOU DEAL WITH THEM!!! Prices are sky high. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T EXIST. You are put on hold forever or get cut off and have to start all over. Staff is poorly educated and doesn't give accurate information. If you value your comfort and life and want to have piece of mind that you will be able to have a reliable decent company, then go somewhere else. They charge high fees for everything. The absolute worst customer service and worst ********************** thats ever existed.
Awful company!Amerigas communications are terrible. They delivered a tank of propane to our house even though I told them multiple times that we didnt have an account with them and not to trespass. Typical arrogant big company. Then they sent us a bill with a bunch of junk fees in it even though we dont have a contract with them. I would find any other supplier if possible. Life is too short to deal with this.
AmeriGas failed in too many ways to list, but after a condemned failed tank, effort to replace the tank failed and lack of service, I was forced to terminate my account with ********************** and hire a new company.AmeriGas failed to pick up the condemned tank for months, then billed me for tank pick up two months later after I had confirmed with a company representative the account was ***************************** failed in so many ways and now sent me a bill for $446.20 for "Other adjustments." BEWARE BEWARE OVERPRICED Very poor customer service; nonresponsive to concerns they charged 419 dollars to remove the tank from my property when I finally got rid of them.GO ELSEWHERE
Worst Company ever. Late delievery, tough to communicate Calls lasts around 2h to be answered and never solves anything. Too disappointed
