Worst company to deal with! Please go with another company if you have the chance. We just bought a property 2 months ago now and have been inaccurately billed twice. They blame it on a leak but there is no leak. I have checked the gauge myself and its barely going down considering the house is empty. When Im being charged for 2 fills at almost $800. Its virtually impossible to get someone helpful on the phone that speak clear English. Got to the manager and they dont even speak clear English. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
I am a propane customer of ********************** and we own two homes. So the service address is different than the billing address. MY auto-bill pay failed one month because we had moved and the billing address no longer matched my credit card. I tried to fix this but the Amerigas self-serve website is a mess and I am unable to change my billing address. Amerigas is the worst company ever!!! They never (and I mean never) deliver when promised and consistently reschedule over and over again. Their customer service is the worst that I have ever dealt with, and their propane is the most expensive out there. Amerigas should not even be in business. Amerigas sent a card with special price for tank owners. I tried to order my delivery numerous times but their online website doesnt operate properly and I would become so frustrated, I would sign off, without getting the order placed. On the last day of the promo, after two calls and extremely long wait time, I was able to speak with a representative. Over priced. Insane late fee's. Every time I called I was on hold for at least an hour (except when it came to payments go figure) took FOREVER to get propane.
Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. Stay away at all cost.
I have phone records to AmeriGas Five (5) different times requesting the pickup of a tank that I no longer use. I requested every time to notify me that they will be arriving, and I would be available. These calls started 9-25-2024, 10-29,2024, 11-12-2024, 11-14-2024, and finally on 11-18-2024. No phone calls @ any time. On 11-12-2024 they arrived as I was pulling into my driveway. The fellow in the truck passed me and went on his way. Have been a customer for several years. Their tank, that I pay rent for, rusted out and leaked over $200.00 worth of my propane. When their "technician" came out to troubleshoot the problem he pressurized the tank with several gallons of propane (I would have used compressed air). That propane immediately, and quite loudly, leaked out of the hole in their tank. They disconnected and removed the tank that day. Paid last week for 400 gallons cash, can't get LivE body on phone, automated always told every day warned no one home yet never came on property or left note or driver call in on site.
