I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

This review is for AmeriGas Maintenance Scheduling and Field Maintenance. ********* named **** initiated calls and answered calls for my questions. He was a highly professional, helpful, friendly individual. It turned out that my account was in a different service area from Seans. Getting to the right people to resolve an issue is a nightmare. Obviously the customer service is all overseas and/or they only hire people who speak minimal English. BUT - I will say once we got through that maze of human interaction (which took us over 2 weeks of calling), the local customer service people here in Jacksonville FL did an excellent job of quickly resolving our issue. They will only respond if they will make money. They charge twice the going price for propane. Try to close the account and they wont answer the phone. Do not do buissnes with them!

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. We had different issues during our service time with them and each time we called customer service they gave us a representative that did not speak English and we couldn't understand each other. When their prices were finally too high for us we switched companies and told them to close our account and come get their tank. They started invoicing us for the tank and told us it would be $400 if we wanted them to come and pick it up. I wish we had never got involved with this compa... read more

terrible customer service and they charge above going rates for propane. billed me $300.00 for an "emergency" delivery that ended up taking three days. Have been unable to get anyone on the phone. Tried again this morning and the recording said they had too many calls and disconnected me. driver lied about trying to get a hold of me and lied about being unable to access the property. asa soon as my tank is empty (so that I do not have to pay for propane removal) I will terminate them. DO NOT use this company

Amerigas is a SCAM! If I could leave less than a one star rating I would. Amerigas is a horrible company to deal with. We have been a customer and paid rental fees for 19 years. Our tank leaked over the winter. Their technician never fixed it and we lost all our propane. We decided to cancel our service with Amerigas. Then they charged us $88.86 for rent, $145.00 for the technician to pick up the tank and $300.00 to remove the tank that could not be used since it leaked. Amerigas is a SCAM! Do not buy from them. I recently changed my residential propane service because of unfair business practices. The propane service in the complaint is AmeriGas. When I canceled my service with AmeriGas they told me I would be charged a cancellation fee of $471. This is an unacceptable and outrages fee in that no other propane service in my area charges a cancellation fee. Also, AmeriGas stated it would be 4 - 6 weeks for them to come and remove their tank.
