I purchased gas last year in July & the delivery driver fill my tank but left me a message that my tank was not correct. After reading his message on the ticket he left I called ***************************** checked my tank and said everything was good. But they still left the ***** shut off. So I went the entire winter of AmeriGas lying saying they would come out to cut my gas back on but I would wait all day and no one would show. But the driver would always say I wasn't home. We have spent the entire winter with no heat and hot water. In the summer, we paid over $700 dollars for them to fill our underground tank. They broke the valve on our underground tank and claimed they put gas in the tank, the gauge read 20% after they claimed that they filled it to 80%. Each time we call, they say "someone will be there to fix the valve". We are still waiting for them to come and fix the valve they broke. If I could give this company a negative number I would. We purchased a home a year ago. At that time there was an AmeriGas Propane Tank outside that was connected to our fireplace. We filled the tank one time. We received a printout from the driver of the delivery truck but never signed a contract with them. We created an online account in order to pay the bill. Fast forward. After being a loyal customer for over 20 years we are finished with this "business". They do not care about their customers anymore. We were put on a schedule for delivery on February 20th, and now, 3 weeks and 2 phone calls later, we sit here with 0% propane! It's still winter! What the heck happened to this once-reliable company? Amerigas has the worst customer service and their automated delivery process is horrible. We had auto delivery and almost ran out this January - which was one of the coldest on record. Supposed to deliver when tank is at 20%, but delivered when it was at 1%. Fast forward 20 days, and they started to deliver when the tank was at 85%, so I called to cancel delivery, but they did not, so I got billed for the little bit they delivered. 0 rating. Was with AmeriGas for 8 years. Requested a tank fill paid $430 upfront. They told me I needed a new tank. AmeriGas called wouldnt service a 1 appliance account, took the tank and charged me $450 to take the tank out. Tried to get money back through customer ********************** line, spent over 2 hours on hold with a foreign call service was told I was out of luck. Do not use this company under any circumstances

Local delivery is prompt and courteous. However, Prices are too high compared with other propane delivery companies. **************** is extremely poor. Help is non-existent; it is hard to get through with long wait times, and difficult to understand the customer representatives on the phone. Billing invoices have errors. Company holds checks mailed and then charges late fees. Cannot resolve billing issues over the phone. A letter of complaint was filed with the company and no response received. After repeated calls to company, of low gas levels, and company promised expedited refill, Amerigas failed to respond to promised action. Tank is now empty.
