Worst company I've dealt with terrible customer service and there's no Americans at America's just a bunch of foreigners who don't have a clue and can't understand them I'm done with their billing Dept and representatives worthless company high prices terrible customer service and support any propane company but indiangas there all indians and they will scalp you !!!!!!?
Amerigas bought ******** *******. When I bought my home the tank was already there. I called they delivered. When Amerigas took over they told me I had a contract on the tank I signed for Heritage. I never signed such contract and now they wont even remove the tank. And they keep adding late charges on a rental fee I told them I wasn't paying. Very poor service and extort their loyal customers. All other propane companies in my area were charging over $1.00 less per gallon. I called Amerigas and was told that if i got 4 quotes in writing from the other suppliers they would look at reducing my rates. The only discount they have is given to new customers and not the customers that have been utilizing them for over 5 years. Purchased our own tank and they tried to charge $149 for tank pick up. 0 star rating. Some over seas rep on the phone that cannot help with disposal of out dated cylinders. I have 15 cylinders that are potentially dangerous sitting in the sun and no help whatsoever from the phone tree. Lost all personal contact services and relationships in our area.
This company is horrible! I have had issues for over the last year starting with propane delivery, showing up unannounced, and then when our service needed to be discontinued for several months, they disregarded messages left through their message system on their website as well as conversations I had with their customer service department. Filled tank in March. Like others $$ for misc fees and $1.20 per gal higher than competitors. Asked if we could purchase tank, NO. Closed account 3/30/23. Tank has yet to be picked up so they would issue us a credit for propane in tank. Had 4 appointments, 4 no shows or calls saying they wouldn't be coming. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
I paid for a propane refill in my off the grid cabin in Orofino Idaho and have been talking to at least a dozen service people to be able to arrange giving directions to the truck driver as well as private gate information. The cabin is 20 miles and located in the woods. This has been the worst customer service system I have ever experienced because you can’t talk with the local people in Kooskia ID. After finally having a good experience with a great area representative, and having a tank installed by a very professional and customer oriented installation person, I was then Overcharged by almost $200, been calling for almost 2 months about having the money refunded and not one Customer Service Person can get this done for me?? This morning I called to report the hideous smell of gas in our garage as we just found out our propane is at a dangerously low amount. The fumes in the gas intensify as the gas becomes low in the tank. We asked for a fill and to check the gas line in the garage. The gentleman came out and stated his higher ups would not allow us to get a fill for whatever reason I’m assuming they don’t care if we’re at 5% and have young children to bathe and cook food for.
