Results were definitely accurate, and we received them faster that I thought!
Seamless process! We were extremely surprised to find out our stray “mutt” is actually 100% chihuahua! We were certain Gene Rayburn was a mix having been on the street! I’ve been reading a lot since the results about true chihuahua personality and traits and it makes so much sense now. I can tell you from personal experience, chis get a bad reputation for no reason! Ancestry is such a great company and I love that they have DNA testing for dogs now. I've been wanting to know what mix of breeds my dog was for a long time and thanks to Ancestry, now I do. I love that they listed the traits she was likely to have as well as health concerns that I should watch for. What a great service.
This was a really cool thing that I didn’t even know existed. It was an add-on through bark box. I’m going to take the results to my vet next week and show them. The number didn’t add up to 100 which I don’t really get but it was pretty interesting to see my dog’s lineage.
I was certain Roger had cattle dog in him. But turns out not. But the breeds do make sense.
You did a good job with all of the traits of my mixed puppy. Just surprising because her face is a long Stout and top three results for dogs with Short stouts. Apparently she is mixed with 7 breeds. The concerning one for me is the American Pitbull. Hopefully she's got a very good disposition with with toddlers. She's a lovable lap dog.

Our dog is a rescue and we had very little background information. This process was very helpful by identifying his breeds and characteristics. We were surprised that our guess was completely wrong but can see his breeds in him, and the characteristics were spot on.
