It was really fun getting Bonbon’s DNA results. I was quite surprised by the results and pleased. I suppose I would’ve been pleased no matter what the results were. My only complaint was that it took so long. I think it took a little over a month to get my results from the time they received his sample.
Taking the sample was super easy and so was mailing it. Results came super fast and I was so surprised our pup was mixed with 2 other breeds. I'm so glad I did this??
We adopted a rescue and was told she was a 3 year old purebred Berneese mountain dog. Her coat was not long like our other so we wanted to know. Turns out she is a mix. Berneese and Swiss mountain dog. I recommend this service as it is the second time using it and nice to know for future health concerns if any
I did not set out to rescue two dogs in an eight week period, but that’s what happened. One an injured ~8 month old on the side of the road and one of them an eight week abandoned puppy at the local humane….and so you know the rest of the story I don’t know how we lived without them. Wonderful experience! We did both our dogs & they both are exactly what we had thought but also a few others sprinkled in there. Turn around time was only 2 weeks even though it seemed to be forever lol I have recommended & if I ever end up with another dog or IF they start doing cats I will be back .
Seeing the breeds that make up our Max make all the sense in the world! Surprised by what he was not as well, we are confident in what the results showed that he is made up of.
Cooper was a rescue dog - we knew only about his mother - we adopted two from the litter and it was obvious that they were brothers from different fathers - they were so alike in so many ways, but different in appearance The traits were right on - for both of our boys. I rescued my pup from the SPCA and they said she was a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle dog) mix. I assumed she was also part Pit as well and was surprised when thw results came back and said exactly that. You hear so many mixed reviews about this and I was pleasantly surprised with the results.
