It was pretty good! I found out things I never thought would be possible about my dog. The only thing I don't like is that they got a few traits wrong. They said he wasn't prone to be scared of loud noises but he is. It's no big deal tho bc I know just bc they said that doesn't mean it has to be true. He also has floppy ears and not upright ears which they said he had.
It was fast which is good but I feel like the results are not accurate while many of the small percentages I do agree with the largest 41% being min pin there is no way ☹️I think that since this is fairly new to ancestry maybe they don’t have enough data yet .
thought it would be a little more detailed. but overall it was good!

Oh my gosh I can not stress how cool this is! I've always had pound puppies and this time I was genuinely curious about what type of hound my dog was. Found out she is NOTHING of what I thought she was and I received information back 9 days after submitting the DNA when it said it could take 2-4 weeks. Highly Recommend!
This was so much fun! Since all four of our doggies are rescues, including three we found dumped in rural areas, knowing their breeds with any certainty would’ve been practically impossible without DNA! I cant even tell you how excited I was, checking every day once it was extracted, to see if the results were in. We were definitely surprised at the results for our littlest dog - she’s half Dachshund! We would’ve probably never figured that out otherwise. The test itself was easy to administer to our puppy and easy to mail back. The test turn around time was quicker than expected, and the results are super informative and easy to navigate. Loved all of that. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 star review is that the website and ancestry app ALWAYS give me trouble trying to log in/view results. It is very heavily geared towards the "purchase here" aspect and when I try to log in it always gives an error message. I can only view my results by clicking through the email ... read more
Breed types were correct, but trait/behavior characteristics were wayyy off. Our pup is the complete opposite of what was stated.
Hi I am dumb-founded that our dog is 61% American Bulldog. I have wondered if possibly the information was entered incorrectly. Most of our dogs relatives are german shepherd mixes....which I would totally believe she is 61% shepherd. We will resubmit Piper's DNA to another DNA company and see how that comes back. The process: was fast, efficient and I loved all the updates.
