We loved learning about our precious mystery pup! It was such a fun process. We knew that she had some of the breeds especially pit bull but never would have guessed the other breeds she was mixed with!! Thank you Ancestry for helping us better understand our furbabe better!
The results were available within about 3 weeks. I was very happy & surprised my pup has 202 dna matches. Very cool!
The entire experience was amazing. We were well informed from the moment we order. It was such detailed instructions and they let us know what was going on every step of the way through their website.
From getting the dna kit to submitting and receiving the info, was very easy and understandable.
Excellent service and instructions
Getting the results was very fast, very fun. I'm very informative. I think Everyone did a fabulous job.
Wish it was detailed on a specific breed. Example if It show Shepherd, what line of Shepherd.
Love the pictograph showing the % of each dog breeds. I enjoyed viewing Mia’s next of kin. Thanks for all the amazing detail and identifying 100% of Mia’s breeds. Other companies end up saying your dog is a % “super mutt”when they can’t identify the breeds. We had no idea Mia is part Australian Cattle Dog but now we see her behaviors mimmic our beloved cattle dog of 16 years who passed on last year. We are very happy we did the canine dna.
I was confused by the findings since my dog's mother's DNA test were 74% Mountain Cur, 13.8% Treeing Walker Coonhound, 11.6% Coonhound. (I don't know what company did the test.) Her daughter, my dog doesn't have any Mountain Cur according to your test. Can you explain that? Maybe a Mountain Cur is made up of some of the dogs your test identified? I've read that Catahoula Leopard Dogs made up the Mountain Cur which my dog has 13% according to your test. I'm curious what you think.
