Get directionsI am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My father is now at Anchor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Aiken. He's in the nursing home. They do give him some type of therapy, but as of last week, I don't know how much therapy they've been giving him because he's been in a lot of pain due to a bulging disc in the back of his neck on the inside that's pressing against his esophagus, so he can barely eat anything or any liquids. He doesn't want a feeding tube, so I don't know where they're going to go because h... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My sister was there after battling Covid and they were very good with her. Very caring and loving staff.
I am/was a resident of this facility Anchor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center was very good. I saw long-term and rehabilitation care. I like the hardworking staff. They cared, and they monitored the patients very good. The rehab part of it was excellent; I was in it myself. I had a surgery last year, and I spent 20 days in rehab in the hospital area in the Anchor Center. I got a pretty good look at Anchor then. The staff was very attentive and caring. I felt right at home. Food can be improved.
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My father had two wonderful experiences at Anchor. From the housekeeping staff to administration, he received excellent care. The staff is very friendly and made him feel comfortable in an unfamiliar environment. The therapy staff was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. He thoroughly enjoyed the food and was impressed by the accommodations provided. The overall aesthetic is breathtaking. Would recommend this facility 100% for rehabilitation services or skilled nursing se... read more
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother was in Anchor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Aiken. It was more of a nursing-home facility, so it was a good bit more expensive. I liked it alright. The staff was good. I know they had a 24-hour nurse and doctor at the place. They’re building onto the community now and doing a lot of work.
I am a friend or relative of resident My husband became a resident of Carriage Hills in 2009 after back surgery. Even though he was moved close from the hospital to there close to a shift change there, his admittance was not rushed and he was made to feel comfortable. This made me feel more comfortable with our choice. I'm sorry that I can't remember the attendants names that took care of him, but, everyone was so nice and made him feel at home. This includes the nurses, CNAs, CMAs, therapists, dieticians, etc. In fact, ever... read more
I am/was a resident of this facility Not a post critical care facility. Not by a long shot!! Food is beyond bad! The bed was an ultra cheap adjustable bed. Beyond uncomfortable! Absolutely no individualized care! I’m a medical professional and this place is absolutely the bottom of the barrel. They have no right to call themselves a “post critical care” facility.
I am/was a resident of this facility Many people with job titles. Food is worse than awful. Rehab department is fantastic. Only week days. Halls are loud day and night. If you arrive from a hospital they do not get your meds til the next day. You just hurt and suffer. Took my surgery waterproof bandage off soon as I arrived. Put something no better than a bandaid on my incision. NOT waterproof. I was in a diaper and I worried the entire time I was there about infection in my incision.
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This facility needs to shut down for good, the lady that answers the incoming calls is always rude and shouldn't be working in the public. All they do is keep the patience in bed and set around and talk all day. They serve the residents pork and beans and weenies as a meal. The social service staff don't do there job either. I would rather die before I went there for help!
