I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The staff was terrible with talking to the family. Patient was admitted into the ER and it was over 6 hours before the family found out. We found out through calling Anchor to ask about the patient and were told they called us and there was swelling of the brain. Checked phones, no calls. Called hospital and it was a severe UTI not brain swelling. Anchor tested for UTI and told the family there was no UTI, but hospital said otherwise. I am/was a resident of this facility I was recently a patient at Anchor for rehab...I will preface this by saying that the PT and OT are the BEST and care deeply for their patients. But that is where it stops. • I requested pain medication one day at 3:30 pm again at 5 and again a little after 6. At 10 to 9 I HAD RECEIVED NOTHING! • This is not the first time...one night I requested pain meds from 1 AM to 7 AM and only received them after shift change at 8:30 AM • I pressed my call light around 11 PM one night.
