I would suggest you schedule weekly calls with your Customers to keep them updated on the status and If there are any pending actions needed. Often We felt uninformed about the progress and current state Of our mortgage. Even now I am unsure if the new Mortgage is done, when the first payment is due and Who to make the payment to. My contact was very Kind and responsive , I just add suggest more regularly Scheduled updates.
