We called to get pre-approved in June. We signed the house papers on June 19. We were told we would close on August 17, so we rented a Uhaul trailer $600 and packed to leave on Friday August 14. It takes us 3 days to drive out to Arizona. An hour before we were supposed to leave we received a call from Churchill telling us that our closing was pushed back to August 24. We had to unpack everything and return the Uhaul trailer. August 21 an hour Before we were supposed to leave Someone calls

There were several hiccups in the process which was nerve wracking. I had submitted the information months ago. Was told there’s one more thing to do and that’s it. Then there was this same issue that we had thought was taken care of months ago and it wasn’t. I was in the middle of a trip and didn’t have access to my files at home. So had to do this the hard way contacting the company for more information. This isn’t our first time refinancing and we’ve never had such a tough time like this.

Get passed between people quite a bit. Document portal has nothing to do with Churchill and is difficult to find. The fact that my deal was confused with another was troubling. What is required “in the name of security” is alarming. Should your systems get compromised there is no chance that I can protect my data. Only thing you don’t have is my DNA.

Instructions to us were often unclear and directions confusing. Use of banking terminology unknown by layman only makes thing worse. An example: the title firms use "CD" meaning Closing Disclosure. To the general public "CD" is a Compact Disk. Which, we were awaiting in the local mail. Hardly what was intended. Even the written name means nothing to layman. Also, using color coded links to direct us commoners were to go would greatly help getting the results you wish. JUST make it simple!

I just found out the Churchill sold our mortgage. We didn't even make one payment to Churchill Mortgage and you already sold us off.

The Friday before our Wednesday closing, we were informed of an issue that could keep us from qualifying for the loan. We feel this could have been brought to our attention sooner and caused for a very stressful weekend as we explored other options in case we did not qualify. In the end, we did qualify and are thankful, yet closing date was pushed back a few days and we scrambled to find other options just in case. We also had to pay a large fee to extend our storage lease for our belongings.

I felt that community I cation could be improved . U guys should lock in a rate when approved. I feel that I would have been treated more fairly if I had used bank. The two people who got me through this process were Mary and jay my realtor.
