My 15 year old long hair cat Punkie was suddenly not doing well on Friday July 27th. I’m new to Nevada and just started looking for any place to get her in. Nye County Animal Hospital was closed till the 31st, the vet on Basin didn’t take walk ins and said they were too busy anyways. They recommended Animal Care Center and I’m SO HAPPY THEY DID! We have taken all our pets to Animal Care Center since it opened with Dr. Holly. Recently, We were able to get a same day emergency appt after our dog was attacked by other dogs. The office was very busy and the staff apologized for the long wait time. The wait was worth it because Dr. Thomas was geniunely concerned about the safety and well being of our dog. You know that each and every staff member LOVES ANIMALS.
The staff is very friendly. The techs are very informative. The vet is just awesome.
Yesterday, we had to make the worst decision in a pet owner's life. This was our first visit here and the staff was so helpful and kind. The vet was friendly and upbeat and the entire procedure help my little boy pass peacefully on. Thank you for being there for us in such a sad time.
The staff are all so friendly and Dr. Thomas really loves animals. They will never turn you away, no matter how busy they are. They will do their best to help your baby stay healthy.
We recently had to put our beloved cat teddy bear down he was our first pet as a couple and it was incredibly heartbreaking but the vet was very kind about the process and was super sweet we just received a lovely letter in the mail hand written saying their apologies for the event it made me feel just a bit better knowing my baby was in a better place n that they cared how the owners felt so thank you for ur help in this tough time with my family and many prayers ur way.
no other vet would give me an appointment, including Nye County where i have been going for over 4 years. my 1st impression was the staff and they were beyond awesome, sense of humor and treated me like i'm an actual person. Dr. Thomas is beyond awesome. within days, my senior girl pup was better than she's been in over a year. i followed his instructions to the tee. the most impressive was everyone who came in contact with my girl treated her like she was the only one there. worth the drive from south of Lakeside!!
Very happy with the care we received and the cost was really reasonable.
