RecommendedWell my little Kamille got into some serious trouble on Sunday so I called this place and asked what to do based on the amount and dosage they recommended I bring her in. we had the heart-wrenching task of putting our beloved cat Pearl down as her quick decline happened over the weekend. It was devastating to see her in so much pain. We checked in while on the way to AESH and got a room right away. The process the staff has in order is second to none. We received a through explanation of everything and time to say good bye. Their communication is amazing. Every time I texted for an update, I received a thoughtful answer from a doctor within half an hour at most. I never felt rushed or burdensome when visiting during my pet's hospital stay. He was discharged with complete, easy to read directions for his after care.

My dog had an emergency late Thursday night, Animal Emergency of GR was truly "there" for us and literally saved my girl's life. We encountered nothing but kindness and skill from the staff, promptly and professionally. I took my dog here in the middle of the night Wednesday (which was really Thursday morning) and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. They were very friendly and helpful. Brought my dog Batman in on Monday due to a possible seizure and the staff were so compassionate from the 3 people working up front first who saw me super upset and worried and then when I met with the veterinarian, he made sure I understood and gave me options of next steps…for a place you don’t want to have to go to the staff was superb. The worst part was the wait and they were honest and upfront about that which I appreciated.

I brought my dog Beck in for an emergency visit, they were amazing with him and were sensitive to me. They gave me different options of how to diagnose and treat his pain, with various costs. I appreciate the detailed information on cost and benefits of the treatments. Beck is doing awesome after his treatment and i would recommend Animal Emergency of GR to anyone that needs a vet. We had good timing so we got in right away. Staff were kind and caring. I appreciated the Provider offering options as far as testing since our dog was stable. Waiting area is spacious and comfortable and you are given the option to leave and come back if you prefer. I am used to being with my dog during her exam so it was a little strange to be out in the waiting room. It seems like I could be a good source of information since my pet can’t talk. Humans are allowed to have someone with them in the ER. Just a thought…

Wednesday we came home to our ferret, Carbon, not moving and unresponsive, in a shock like state and shaking and couldn’t move. After calling prices for over an hour we finally got hold of this place. After the 1.5 hour drive, we were brought in for our Carbon to be taken back immediately.
