Hire staff that knows what’s going on so I don’t have to wait three days to get my dog back. Every time I visit there’s some kind of issue.

My daughter took her shi tzu up there for heart worm treatment. Bailey asked them to call her when she was ready to be picked up. They didn’t. They left me a message at 20 minutes until they were about to close and I’m out of town. Then there’s no way to contact anyone. They told her the dog was throwing up. Probably because she was a rescue from a bad breeder situation and there’s no way to get to her. I’m so disappointed in this vet. We’ve been taking our animals there for over a decade. Not anymore.

Animal Hospital of Lubbock 7902 Slide Rd, Lubbock, TX 79424 I have used this veterinarian service since about 2013. I have always received sincere compassionate service and they have been reasonable with fees for routine annual issues for my dogs. Until this year. I took my Yorkshire 4 year old in for her teeth cleaning and annual shots. That’s all I asked them to do. Should be a selection for zero stars but here goes. They treat their employees like crap yelling and screaming at them its horrible. One doctor doesn't like female issues and talks down to every woman that works there. Im never taking my animals there again and I feel so bad for those who work there and get treated like shit.

This is how your animal will be closed up! BUTCHERS!! Imagine what this poor baby is gonna go through in 2 weeks when the chicken wire has to be removed. This place should be shut down!!
Had a voucher from the shelter to have my dog spayed and they tried to charge for everything like pain medication of course I want my dog to be comfortable then 41.09 for an IV then 50.00 for a possible test, so if you offer your services to the shelter stop trying to make money do it for the love of animals. Then you send my dog home with what looked like twisted paper clips an outdated cheap procedure that vets don’t use anymore!! SHAME ON YOU SHAME IN YOU! Unbelievably bad service. Had a 9:30am appt. and when I got there 10 minutes early I was literally the only one there. My car was the only one in the parking lot and I was the only one in the waiting room. They didn't call me back until 9:45am. Then after weighing my kitten the nurse went to get a doctor. While waiting an additional 10 minutes a dog came in and made a huge commotion right outside the door to the exam room, scaring my kitten terribly. No one seemed to be in control of the dog. This vet's office never has their stuff together. We've been multiple times because of our fosters and they always mess something up. They forget to call to pick up when the animal is ready, they forget to schedule appointments, they never return concerned phone calls. Every time I walk in nobody knows what's going on. I really wish our fosters went to a more competent office.

This vet will give you a quote then it will be $$$$ over what you expected. Great service I suppose. Not a place for fixed income folks or blue collar jeans and boots folks. This place is for the high income high cotton big money people. Got to pay the "ransom" before you can see your "baby". Told me if my dog had complications to bring her back.
