RecommendedWe love Animal House. We recently moved to North Virginia, but have had to come back to NC for business. Although our business is in Raleigh and Wilmington, we made a detour to Jacksonville to drop our dogs off at Animal House for an overnight stay. We have yet to find any pet resort/kennel that remotely compares to Animal House in North VA. At Animal House, we can trust that our fur babies are well taken care of!
This is the best place ever! Just got my cat and dog groomed.

I have a dog, Leo, who really isn't that great with other dogs. We were so nervous to leave him anywhere because we figured they would hit him or turn us away at the first growl, or that he would be locked up all day :/ . He's been going to daycare at Animal House (along with his husky sister, Athena!) And they always tell me he plays great! It's such a relief knowing that they keep a close eye and I don't have to worry, and that my dogs actually get a chance to play with the others. Plus, when I pick them up in the evening ... read more
