The people who work at ASC are a special breed. The most thoughtful, loving, dedicated people I have met in a long time. Over the past four months, they have helped our pup through two health emergencies, with such kindness—to us and to him—that it’s almost impossible to put into words.

I am truly grateful for this facility and the staff that took care of my Lulu, especially Dr. Hembold and Nancy. Lulu, out of the blue, started having bloody diarrhea. (This was on April 16th) They saw her right away, diagnosed her quickly with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and gave me the option of treating her at home. I knew she would do better if she stayed there over night. Very caring and made a very difficult day somewhat easier.
I was so nervous and upset when I rushed my dog to Animal Specialty Center after she ingested a toxic material. Every person I dealt with there was kind and made me feel less nervous by reassuring me that they would take good care of her and keep me posted if she had any complications. When I called to check on her during the night, they were happy to give me updates. By the next morning they were happy to tell me she was doing fine and could go home.

ASC is great! I recently had to take my elderly cat Gracie to them as her kidney disease has progressed. The internist, Dr. Candelario and her team were amazing through the entire consultation and diagnostic process. I'm also extremely appreciative of the ER team for their fantastic care of Gracie over her three day stay, as well as the prompt and friendly interactions I had with the front desk from admittance through discharge. My German shepherd was being treated here by a very encouraging neurologist. She was kind to both, me the owner, and my dog. She understood what it meant to have limited funds, and want the best for the animal. However, when the time came to put him to sleep he had to be seen by the ER veterinarIan to be evaluated , before euthanasia. All I know is he was calm When I brought him in.
