We went online and looked at all the local pool companies and interviewed about five different ones. We had a few friends that had pools in their yard for up to 20 years and they used Anthony & Sylvan back then. One of the newer customers also had a pool put in and they were very satisfied. We have a couple of friends who had used Anthony & Sylvan before. We've looked at various pool companies and decided to go with them because of the quality of pool they built for our friends. We have a large wooded lot so we also looked into the shape constraints we had and they were able to come to a design with nature look than a standard pool. It's free-form pool without a spa and it fits into the limits of our backyard and we can use it whenever we want.
I researched on the web, had a total of three companies come in and I liked Anthony & Sylvan the best. They made a rectangular 20 by 40 pool for me and it has a sundeck off to the side. It also has a small area of about six inches of water that has little bubble jets in it to circulate the water and a vent going down the side of it. The project manager was very helpful. Our house is a brand new construction. We decided to get a pool because it's a better alternative than trying to buy a house in Lewes, DE or Rehoboth Beach, DE near the ocean.
