I was in interested in purchasing a new Armada. I logged in to the dealership web site Saturday. I then called a short time after and spoke with a salesman Robert Thompson. We discussed the car and then price. He talked with his manager and called me back with the their best number. I accepted it and started working through the process. I will give it a zero star....beware...I whish I read the reviews before I went there. Shady practices, they didn't want to sell me a new Nissan rogue because I wanted to put large down payment (who doesn't want to take down payments, usually it's the other way around, they said they are making their money in the financing and wanted to charge me a very high APR even if I had excellent credit score!!! ), they lied about the prices, didn't Include the graduate rebate even after sending them my transcript, They don't let you w... read more
I have been in on more than one occasion to get basic service performed (oil, 30k tune-up) and have left feeling like I was an afterthought. I didn't feel like the oil changes were done promptly, even with scheduled appointments. I had to call and check up on my service more than two hours after the promised time for the 30k tune-up and after pick up my "multi-point inspection" looked like someone just said yes to every option, and doubted that they even did anything to my car.
DO NOT GO HERE! If you want a Nissan go to any other one but this one. The Sales reps lie to you and ruin your credit by running it many times. My credit was ran 3 times (hard hits) when the sales rep Dennis Kane said they only ran a “soft hit” so nothing would be bad on my credit. Also they do not work with you on prices at all. They will argue with you and tell you you’re getting a good deal and you should take it. Had my final price from another dealer and then called the sales person at Antwerpen to see if they can beat the price. He was told by the manager that they are willing to do so. When I got there... The manager offered me the exact same price as other dealer previously offered me. When I mentioned the fact that I drove all the way here because you told be that you will beat the price, I was faced with Scott's extremely rude attitude. He even raised his voice. This review is written as accurately as possible: I took a visit to Antwerpen Nissan, greeted by friendly sales person(s). He showed me around, asked me what I was looking for, and after seeing that I brought a paper with me, asked me if he WILL match or beat any competitor's pricing. But given the following brief timeline of major actions, you should already be able to tell how much frustration and time the consumer has experienced and contributed. Overall My experience is this group of new car agents and mangers are not truthful and there contractual paper work is set up to fool the customer into believeing he is in control. I can get into a whole lot of details but if you would like less hassels with your purchase, stay away.
Our experience with this dealership started out ok. The salesman we were working with was friendly and made us feel comfortable about buying there. The staff stayed open a little late to give us time to consider their offer and fill out paperwork. It was not until the sales manager got involved that things started going downhill.
