I went to the dealership to buy a used Leaf. I drove two, neither one of which was properly charged. One had light colored upholstery that was filthy. The other was satisfactory except that it did not appear to have been prepped, either. When we sat down to talk, they added thousands of dollars in "fees" such as $299 for nitrogen in the tires, $299 for locking lug nuts which were not on the car, etc. I left and went to another dealership where I bought a Leaf in a straightforward transaction with no added fees.
I had been a long time Antwerpen buyer, having purchased 4 previous cars from them. I had a negative experience at their Toyota dealership, so went to the Nissan dealership looking for a used car. We found a car that would work for us, and went to look at it. Price for car advertised low, added $4,000 by the time we were done. Ridiculous! Would not recommend this dealership!! $1,600 add on for Maryland inspection.
Very dishonest, we will never recommend Antwerpen. We have bought several cars in the past, we are in our sixties and we have never been treated so badly. They added all kinds of fees and costs to price on the computer (for used cars), including the cleaning and their 'special detailing". I wanted to buy a car priced for 14999.When I called I wanted to put a deposit on the car. The final price went to 19999 ...??????$5000 more for different ridiculous charges that the crook who was on the phone told me and I couldn't even understand what a xxxx he was saying, meaning that he was making everything up as he was talking. BE AWARE OF DEALERS LIKE THESE.!!!!
Do not trust anything anybody from this dealership tells you! They advertise one price and the when you go to sign the papers the price is 50% higher! Deceptive practice is being too kind. If I wrote how I really felt about this dealership it would not be suitable for minors.
If there is a rate less than 1, that's what they deserve. Bought a Pathfinder in April 2016. Latter discovered thatUselessc Extended Guarantee was added without my knowledge. Went back within 1 week to cancel it. Refund to the Bank is within 4 weeks! As at today 20 weeks after is yet to be done. The finance department did not submit the registration documents to the MVA. Our temporary registration expired and we have not received the permanent registration or stickers after 3 months. The sales person was very good but finance and accounting have been disappointing. Although apologetic, they acknowledge the error after we drove around with a car that was not registered in Maryland with the MVA. Glad I did not get stopped by police! I drove an hour to this dealership to buy a used car listed at $8,300. At the very end of the process when I was all set to buy the car they show me the cost and it amounted to well over $13,000! Obviously a dealer will charge fees but to list a car at 8,300 and then charge and additional 60% of the sales price in fees is dishonest. the $5,000 in fees came from bogus charges such as nitrogen fees and a $1500 reconditioning fee. I will not go here ever again
