Communication!! Don’t just copy and paste responses from underwriting in an email to your client. Take one minute to translate the finance speak into terms a non-lender can understand. NO ONE at Mutual ever called my real estate agent in response to her questions.

My experience would have been much better if I was kept up to date with information I needed to know, wasn’t reprimanded for expressing concerns, and more. For example; I did not know how much my monthly payments would be until I was already signing the papers at the law office, which was much higher than me and Anwar spoke about me being comfortable with. My realtor and I could not get ahold of his phone the day of closing until 30 minutes before my contracted time I needed to be there to sign. Which reminds me my process ... read more

I was co*signing the loan was not keep informed of the process. The second phase I kept trying to tell them I didn't own property in my name, and they did not believe me and kept saying I was divorced or married when I kept telling them I was a widow. The first two times I dealt with Anwar it was a lot smoother than this last time. I was the one who refer my niece to go with this company. If by chance if there is a fourth time I don't know if I would use your company again,

Anwar started hitting on my realtor early in in the process of my home buying experience. When I reported that he was asking for photos from her by text message, the supervisor stated that he would oversee my file as it must have just been a misunderstanding. My realtor did not report this professionally as apparently this has happened before with other another company and it tied her up with paperwork and the other company did nothing as ahe had to work with that person again months later. Responses to my questions were quick, but some communication had an irritated and/or condescending tone until I requested that we keep things professional. Also, when I discovered that there had been a rate lock put in place without my knowledge, input, or consent, and when I requested a removal of the rate lock and a straight answer on where current interest rates were sitting, there was too much argument and too little transparency.
