My gums and teeth were very tender after my appointment yesterday - much more so than usual. I'm not sure what was different, and they feel fine today, but the cleaning seemed a bit 'rough'. Not my usual experience.

Staff can't get any better.
I have three complaints: 1) Dr. Evans was not very friendly and did not take the time to explain what was going on with my teeth. 2) The woman who performed my x-ray was very nice, but scratched my mouth with the plastic; ideally, she would have been a bit more careful. 3) The receptionist who handled the payment of my visit overcharged me. She did fix it right after (which I appreciate) but her error caused my account to be charged twice (about $200). I would like a pricing sheet for dentures and pros and cons to wearing dentures. I had partials but now I need to go to dentures.
The last 2 times I've been in I've had my cleaning with Amy and she is NOT gentle at all. I used to see someone whose name I can't remember but she was blond and very nice and very gentle. I am considering changing dentists at this point. The other older hygienist gave me a flouride treatment and although I've had it before and understand it's kind of messy she sent me out with an enormous amount of flouride all over my teeth and mouth - so much so that I had to go home before I could go in public. Susie was great. However, waiting for 30 minutes to start my service is unacceptable. This is the reason why we make appointments. I was asked to come in at 3:00 PM according to the business card handed to me on my last vist. I waited for over 30 minutes before being called for my cleaning. I know sometimes things don't go as planned but not more than 30 minutes.
This a thoroughly professional dental practice. I would never consider going elsewhere for my dental care.
Everyone was very nice. Best dental experience I have ever had!
