I visited the store with five friends, and we spent over $500. While some of the clothes were cute, the owner was impatient and noticeably rude to both us, and noticeably, her young staff. Despite the store not being busy, she made a comment like, “you’re doing a lot of looking, not buying,” which made us feel pressured and unwelcome. Part of the charm of boutique shopping is the friendly service, but that was missing here. I wouldn’t return.
My wife went in to the location in Timonium. She went in with the intent to return a defective blouse and buy a new dress for an upcoming work event. She wanted to spend money. However, when she tried to return the blouse the owner said it was not her (Apricot Lane) defective blouse; it was the vendors? "How old is it?, how did YOU damage it?". I stopped in for a quick visit because I was headed to a breast cancer fundraiser and needed something special and PINK! So much to choose from! The staff was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful and I was able to buy something unique and yet something I will wear all season. Thanks for always having a variety of styles and fun statement pieces!
Apricot Lane is the most amazing store. The staff are so helpful and the owner is as cute as a button. I just love her. I can always find something for me and better yet something for a friend as a gift. I shop there all the time and will continue. I think you should check it out.
